The tents inner-first construction means that in warm weather, the inner tent can be used independently as a ventilated shelter, making the Bedrock the perfect choice for short trips in the summer months.

Tent durability

Bought it for a 1-night camp out at Castle hill, when I was putting the poles in place I heard something squeaking. I checked and the pole had split in half causing the height of the tent to be not straight.

Another problem is the lower end of the tent; the waterproof layer always sags on the lining of the tent causing my sleeping bag to be drenched the following morning from the moderate rain I experienced.

Even after getting replacement poles, it still snapped again after leaving the tent set up for a couple days in low winds. I wouldn't recommend this tent as you will see issues immediately after setting it up. Normally the Coleman brand is seen as a premium brand, but they got something very wrong with the Bedrock 2 tent.
